Membership Information 

Unlike the rising cost of other legal defense plans, we, the FOP, since our inception have maintained the same monthly dues for our membership. How do we do this? The Fraternal Order of Police, is able to maintain this cost because we are the largest police organization in the world representing over 300,000 members, and locally representing over 5000 officers. In Denver alone we have approximately 900 FOP members.

The cost for membership is only $30.00 per month. Additionally, for new-hires we realize that even at this price money is scarce, but we also realize the importance of having access to a lawyer so we offer a reduced price during your time in the academy.

NEW: As of July 1st, 2008 Lodge #41 will increase membership dues to $30.00 per member. Due to increased costs of Legal Defense, and an increase in State and Local dues, this is necessary. We have not increased our dues in approximately 13 years, and have held out as long as we felt we could.
